MICHAEL HEATING & AIR is owned and operated by James Michael. Mr. Michael started this business over 33 years ago. He has watched his company grow and expand with the addition of his two daughters Barbara and Shirley Michael. Mr. Michael holds his Conditioned Air Non-Restricted License and is involved in every aspect of the business. He has attended numerous training classes, keeping up to date on his knowledge and skills.
Barbara Michael is the General Manager of the company. She graduated from Athens Christian School and received her master's degree from UGA. She also has her Conditioned Air Non-Restricted License. She keeps up with industry standards and up to date info with continuing education classes.
Shirley Michael works in the accounting side of the business. She also graduated from Athens Christian School and received her undergraduate degree from UGA. GO DAWGS!!! She also attended classes at Athens Tech. Shirley has three children and is married to the Service Manager Dave Lindsey.

Dave Lindsey, Service Manager Dave is a busy man managing our Service Dept. Dave graduated from Athens Technical College with an Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology and an Associate Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology. He also holds his Conditioned Air Non-Restricted License. Dave is NATE certified in Air to Air, Heat Pump, Service & Installation Technician. Dave is happy to help customers with their service needs!

Carolyn Heckert, Trane Comfort Specialist
Carolyn graduated from La Grange College with a BSE, and went on to receive her Masters in Education from West Georgia College. After 20 years of teaching she retired and began a new career in sales. She joined Michael Heating & Air in 1999. Carolyn has attended "Trane Boot Camps" (Sales Training) in both Tyler Texas and Duluth Georgia. She continues to stay abreast of industry changes by attending seminars held by Trane on equipment and product updates. She has also completed Duct Design class and Manual J Training. This experience is supplemented by broad skills in customer relationship and the desire to bring the customer the information they need to make informed decisions.
